JacksonVibe — Music with a Story, a Purpose, and a Soul
I am Derrick Jackson, a Nashville recording artist blessed with the opportunity to work alongside Keagan Ferrell, a Nashville producer and finalist on The Voice. That collaboration helped shape the sound, vision, and spirit of what would become JacksonVibe.
Born in the heart of Fort Wayne, Indiana, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, JacksonVibe emerged at a time when isolation and uncertainty made human connection more important than ever. Music became a way to bring people together, lift spirits, and remind us of the power we share through sound.
JacksonVibe is more than a band. It is a reflection of lived experience, resilience, faith, and the ability of music to uplift and inspire.
As the band's frontman, I created JacksonVibe from a deeply personal place. Growing up as a foster child across Ohio, from quiet rural towns to the streets of downtown Cleveland, I learned early that music was the one constant I could carry with me. It became my sanctuary, my voice, and ultimately, my gift to share with the world.
JacksonVibe is my biography expressed through rhythm and harmony.
Our sound blends soul, funk, gospel, acoustic storytelling, and a wide range of musical influences. We perform an extensive variety of songs and styles designed to connect with audiences across generations. Whether delivering a soulful classic, a high-energy crowd favorite, or a meaningful song that speaks to the heart, our goal is to create an experience people will remember.
No matter the genre, our mission remains the same: to connect, to inspire, to uplift, and to celebrate the human journey through music.
Every performance is an opportunity to bring people together, create lasting memories, and share the gift of music. From intimate gatherings and wineries to festivals, private events, and live entertainment venues, JacksonVibe brings versatility, passion, and a sound designed to touch every generation.
